B-17 TECH – DIAGRAMS
Figure 1

Exploded view of the B-17 Fork. This is the typical parts diagram for a B-17 phantom as seen in “fig 1”.
#170 is a B-17 outer tube.
#160 is a B-17 inner tube.
#190 is the phantom brake caliper assembly.
Figure 5

Detail of patented B-17 phantom brake caliper assembly. The compact construction provides exceptinal structural rigidity to the caliper. The twin piston design puts two big pistons close together to provide one of the most powerfull calipers available for motorcycles. Because the entire fork leg structure is used in the caliper. The caliper is both structurally sound has excellent heat absorption properties. The structured rigidity in the clamshell mode is far superior to other leading calipers.
How can we change trail?

The B-17 phantom features a hidden brake line. The line is hidden inside the fork tube giving your brake a clean uncluttered look.
The difference between a $20,000 motorcycle and a $100,000 motorcycle is what you don’t see.

This diagram shows how the line exits the brake caliper internal to the fork.

The side is hidden by a screw in seal cover. The seal cover may be removed with a strap wrench and should be secured with Blue Loctite. The seal cover has normal light hand threads.
The brake line runs through internal passages in the triple tree.
Fork stops are intergrated into the B-17 lower triple tree.
