Stability control. Vortex sheding creates wobbles on bikes with handelbar mounted fairings. The VCU (Vortex Control Unit) controls unwanted occilations of the handelbar at high speed. Fixed fairing bikes become easier to control at the limits of adhesion, because the VCU dampens out slip/slide variation in tire traction. Addition of the VCU lowers lap times and improves street riding control.
